The ON Semiconductor FPF2266 power switch is a 24V, 4.5A device with continuous current for USB charging port applications. The power switch features overvoltage protection (OVP), overcurrent protection (OCP) and an NTC module for monitoring system temperature. The FPF2266 switch has a low on-resistance of 15mΩ (typical) and operates over a 3.6V to 24V input voltage range with an absolute maximum voltage of up to 28V. The power switch provides an open-drain output (BATT_SHDN) for system battery disconnect and a bidirectional interface (ALERT/KILL) for SoC, MCU or other external power supplies. The FPF2266 power switch has an operating junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The power switch is packaged in a 4x4 solder joint 0.4mm pitch WLCSP. The FPF2266 protection switch is used in mobile phones, tablets, notebook computers and media players.
