ADXL382
Analog Devices Inc. ADXL382 3-axis MEMS accelerometer
The Analog Devices ADXL382 3-axis MEMS accelerometer supports optional measurement ranges of ±15g, ±30g, and ±60g. This 3-axis accelerometer has low noise density and low power consumption, and has industry-leading low noise performance, making it ideal for applications that require high accuracy and only require fine-tuning. Even in an environment with severe vibration, the ADXL382 can accurately measure audio signals or heartbeat sounds. ADI ADXL382 multifunction pin names can only be referenced by the relevant functions of the serial peripheral interface (SPI) or inter-integrated circuit (I2C) interface, or can be referenced by its audio functions such as pulse density modulation (PDM), inter-integrated circuit sound (I2S), or time division multiplexing (TDM).
The low power consumption of the ADXL382 has enabled the development of several features to improve system-level performance. These features include a built-in micropower temperature sensor, single, double, and triple-tap detection, and a state machine to prevent false triggering. The ADXL382 has conditions and an external clock for external control of the sampling time.
The ADXL382 operates over a wide supply voltage range of 2.25V to 3.6V (or a 1.8V supply), and can be interconnected with a host operating at an independent supply voltage if necessary. The device is packaged in a 14-pin LGA package measuring 2.9mm x 2.8mm x 0.87mm.
